I did the Beginner's Riding course and it was totally necessary. It made me feel much more comfortable on the bike. If I had been smart and kept my little Honda Nighthawk bike, I would still be riding probably. Style of bike really does matter!! I wish I could take a refresher course to feel good about it again but then I keep seeing terrible statistics of how many motorcyclists get hurt b/c of other's carelessness or their own idiocy.

At the same time as I really like a physical keyboard, after dealing with the Samsung Captivate for approximately quarter-hour, it's laborious to move back. At this time I'm debating whether or not to visit Verizon for the Droid X, go to Sprint for the EVO, or stay with AT&T for the Captivate...selections, decisions.

Since then I've tried opening on my Ubuntu system and it opens fine. I also tried a nightly build of the Windows version but that suffered from the same problem. Interestingly, both OpenOffice and the SVG viewer on Ubuntu had a rendering problem with the file but at least they didn't crash. I will likely submit a bug but I want to do some more experimenting before I do.

Greetings Thom...

It would be wise to contact the developers or do a little Googling to see if you can figure out the root cause.

I strongly suspect there is a hiccup in the package you downloaded. Inkscape _should_ work just fine, and if it doesn't, the developers would likely want to know about it.

If you need further help, don't hesitate to drop me an email and I'll do my best to see if I can point you along the right path.

Glad you found the tutorial useful and thanks for dropping by.

Yeah I hear slowing down for summer, I started a book club, we might be getting a dog, and of course the house projects and wedding. But its ok b/c I go on vacation next week.
I have stopped checking Facebook at work so when I do check, it is very sporadic and meaningless and I don't feel like I am missing anything.
Can't get unaddicted to email though. Anyway, Love, Sarah

Or I might decide after less than a week that I would just quietly go back to business as usual.

I'm going to be mostly offline, it was time for me to shut up anyway. That includes Twitter and Facebook but I will check email daily. I will likely still post to Flickr but I'm still undecided on that.
