The One Party System
Sadly, the GOP will retain their one seat majority in the Monroe County Legislature. Democratic county legislators can basically stay home and collect their paychecks since their votes and voices have no power whatsoever.

Pumpkins!
I spent the morning visiting Powers and Gro-Moore, two local farm markets, to shoot some pumpkins. It was supposed to be a bad season for pumpkin growing (it sure was for hops) but there are pumpkins available.
