How the Craft-Beer Movement Abandoned Jim Koch

A longform look from Boston Magazine at Sam Adams’ Jim Koch who helped start the craft beer movement back in the early 80s with his Sam Adams Boston Lager.

If you’re into craft beer,  it’s likely you don’t drink Sam Adams and if you’re young it’s even more likely you’ve never had a Sam Adams. Which is precisely the problem for Koch. It will be interesting to see if he can overcome it.
