The Controversial FDA Approval of Zohydro

A lot of people are shaking their heads and wondering why the FDA approved Zohydro despite the negative recommendation of its own review committee. Zohydro is an extended-release form of hydrocodone that lacks any anti-abuse features.

Abuse of opioids like hydrocodone and oxycodone have effects that you might not expect.
