At the moment I am taking a project management course at work that’s all online training, no classroom or instructor. It references a book from a project management group and frequently directly quotes it in the training. The book has been updated over the years. The course uses the third edition. We have an online version of the book available for free but it’s the second edition. So I ordered a hardcopy version to better follow along with the course. When it arrived I discovered it’s the fourth edition. It’s not too different, luckily, and even includes a section on changes from the previous edition.
But seriously, would such a situation have occurred if this was being taught in a classroom?
