The ethanol fuel subsidy has ended

Congress let the ethanol fuel subsidy quietly end yesterday. The likely result will be an increase in fuel prices across the board as even “regular” gasoline contains up to 10% ethanol.

One of our cars is E-85-compatible, but we stopped using it years ago due to poor overall performance. That’s on top of the significantly lower mileage so it wasn’t a hard decision to make to stop using it entirely.
