The Broadband.gov site is asking you to run a small broadband speed test (Java required) so they can map the real broadband speeds people are getting. But even if you don’t currently have broadband you can participate by filling out a form.
The US is way behind a lot of countries in broadband deployment (Korea!) but to hear the providers talk you’d think we’re way ahead. It’s time there were some facts introduced into the discussion.
