AvantGo is shutting down

Back in the day, AvantGo was the only way to read web con­tent on your uncon­nected PDA. But now that every smart­phone has a real web browser, AvantGo is end­ing its web sync ser­vice and mov­ing to other con­tent deliv­ery mod­els. I removed it from my Treo months ago because it was mak­ing the Hot­Sync take for­ever but I used it for years on my Palm V and Zire 72.
