Flickr Hit Hard by Yahoo Layoffs

Om Malik is report­ing that Flickr has been severely affected by lay­offs at par­ent Yahoo. As every­one has men­tioned, Flickr is one of the few things Yahoo has done right in recent years, cut­ting it is not going to be helpful.

I will be mov­ing on from Flickr when my pro mem­ber­ship is up this sum­mer. Any­one have a sug­ges­tion for a replace­ment? I like the looks of Smug­Mug along with the fea­tures, but it’s smaller and has less of a social aspect than Flickr.
