Tweeting the terror: How social media reacted to Mumbai

If there’s one thing that comes out of the ter­ror­ist attacks on Mum­bai, it’s the value of Twit­ter and other live­blog­ging tools. Yes, it was chaotic and yes, not always accu­rate but the news got out faster and to a wider audi­ence than is pos­si­ble via tra­di­tional media. Expect this to become the norm rather than the exception.
