It looks like the ‘virtual fence’ that DHS wanted along the Mexican border is seriously flawed and delayed. Boeing, the main contractor, seems to have bowed to pressure from Dubya & Co. to deliver early and cut a few too many corners. At this point, no one is sure what the final cost will be.
