PDAPerformance shuts down

There’s no question that the Palm OS development market is in transition, and the recent shutdown of PDAPerformance, a Palm OS developer isn’t really all that shocking. Palm itself has already announced that they’re moving to a Linux-based replacement, so anyone developing tools for the old Palm OS are going to be facing a shrinking market (once Palm actually ships).

Just as long as Palm keeps the simplicity and the ‘it just works’ part of Palm OS while adding more modern features (multi-tasking), I’ll be happy.
