Former FBI agent Patrick Dempsey says we’re unprepared to fight worldwide cyber crime and the only answer is a second ‘safer’ Internet with strong national borders. After being roasted on Slashdot, he added an update claiming his real intent was to get people focused on net crime. Sure. Okay. Whatever. Just another ‘we have to destroy the Internet to save it’ scheme that will go nowhere.
