Despite the fact that you can now legally download DRM-free music from a number of sources, the RIAA has started going after people who rip CDs for their own use. That’s right, grab a song from the CD you just bought and the RIAA might go after you, too.
[Update] That article was somewhat misleading, the RIAA is actually suing over sharing files, not over ripping per se. But it’s still calling CD ripping ‘unauthorized’.
