Canon has sold 30 Million EOS Cameras, both film and digital, since 1987.
I never intended to go Canon, having two Nikon film SLRs since high school. But on the used market, Canon dSLRs seemed to be way more reasonable, price-wise, than equivalent Nikons. I’m content with my D60 and the software that works with it (newly updated on OS X and much improved) so I’ll probably not switch back.
