If you have Time-Warner’s RoadRunner cable internet service, you should know that they’ve introduced packet shaping across the board. What this means is that they’ll be limiting the rate of transfer on what they consider high-bandwidth traffic during “peak hours”. You can expect large downloads to take much longer than before as a result.
