A NY State senator is proposing a bill that would fine pedestrians and bicyclists if they use their iPod, cell phone or other PDA while crossing city streets. Here’s a better idea, why don’t you either a) enforce the existing law concerning vehicle use of cell phones since it’s way more dangerous to others to lose control of an SUV than to cross the street or b) cut the amount of corruption in Albany before you start telling the rest of us how to live?
