Ambulance chasersLawyers in NY state have been told to tone down their ads on television and the web. The new rules, created by the state Appellate court, were prompted in part by ads from Jim “The Hammer” Shapiro, infamous (non-practicing) personal injury lawyer. It’s still all “wink-wink, nudge-nudge” anyway, since no lawyer is going to say they can’t guarantee to get you the optimal settlement.
