Personal Time Management Week: Goal Setting Toolkit

Last year, partially prompted by a suggestion from my karate school, I began writing down my goals for the year (and for a few years ahead). But it takes more than simply writing them down, you need to have them in front of you so that you’re reminded of them constantly. I believe this works in the same way as affirmations do in that you alter your behavior in subtle ways to move towards the goal when you say them to yourself frequently. One nifty tool for getting your goals out there and in a form you can easily handle is the Goal Setting Toolkit from Success Begins Today. All you need is access to a printer and Avery business card stock. The site also has a number of other tools for setting goals, so check them out when you’re there.
