On Dewey Avenue in Greece is the old Air Force Plant 51 site. It was used in WWII to build landing craft and then converted to building parts for B-52 bombers. Although it looks abandoned, the site is still in active use, with a printing company in that front white building and a scrap metal company in the main building behind.
The plant is on Round Pond and is one of the most contaminated sites in the Rochester area. I stayed outside and away from the pond area.
There are more photos available on my Flickr site at Air Force Plant 51.
