Apple is doing some­thing smart, processor-wise, con­tin­u­ing to use Pow­erPC chips from Freescale (for­merly Motorola Semi­con­duc­tor) until the end of 2008. Fears of them run­ning out of Pow­er­PCs before the Intel tran­si­tion should go away. Tags: Mac OS+X Intel
