Given the recent blath­er­ings out of Tom Cruise (he’s straight, really) is there a pos­si­bil­ity the main­stream press is afraid of Sci­en­tol­ogy?

Given the “church“‘s predilec­tion for suing the crap out of its crit­ics (their “scrip­tures” are copy­righted, which helps) it’s not all that hard to believe.
