That the world, and especially the Poles who lived nearby, could overlook such monumental evil is a sorrow I will carry for all of my days.
I hope to someday visit Poland and Germany, the places of my ancestors. Perhaps I will also visit Auschwitz and the other places of death. Because, unlike that inbred idiot Prince Harry, I have not forgotten. Nor do I doubt for a moment that something like it could happen again, given how so many have forgotten. So while we pray for the victims, let us do all that we can to remind ourselves of what can happen when the majority look the other way.
