This is one of the sadder things I’ve seen recently: Astronaut’s husband wishes whole family had died in pre-Columbia plane crash.
NASA really does need to come to grips with the fact that it’s in a dangerous business and that death, however infrequent, is part of that. It’s time for them to stop hiding behind jargon and bureaucracy and deal with things honestly and openly.
