A lot of peo­ple have chas­tised East­man Kodak for not embrac­ing dig­i­tal pho­tog­ra­phy. But they have, finally, though not with­out con­se­quences. It wouldn’t mat­ter as much if they weren’t the major employer here, but they are and what hap­pens to Kodak affects every­one. You’d be hard-pressed to find some­one here who didn’t have some sort of Kodak con­nec­tion. The local econ­omy is going to tum­ble, for sure.
