Mac­World Expo is com­ing back to Boston (where I attended in 1988) but it’s likely Apple won’t attend. This calls to mind a koan: If Apple does not attend, is it still MacWorld?

Oh joy. An unnamed Linux tool ven­dor has been blessed by Microsoft to port Pass­port to Linux. It will be deliv­ered as a pre-built binary, of course. Update: PC World is report­ing the com­pany is Ready to Run Software.
