Mac­Cen­tral: Apple to release Ren­dezvous as open source. Ren­dezvous takes a lot of the com­plex­ity out of find­ing and con­fig­ur­ing net­work devices and is backed by the IETF. Apple can be a potent force in the open source com­mu­nity and this shows how seri­ous they are about it.
