Motorola is promoting their idea of a safer mobile phone use for drivers.
Here in NY, use of a phone while driving is illegal, and I use a hands-free speakerphone with my Motorola Star-Tac. But Moto also offers a Bluetooth-based unit that relieves you from having to plug anything in, just get in the car and it connects to your phone. That strikes me as the way to go, since every now and then I forget to pull my phone off my belt and plug it in. Of course, very few phones have Bluetooth, so this is hardly a universal solution.
